Here we can see some life images of Niccolo Paganini.

The left image is a coal drawing by J.A.D.Ingres around 1819, the second picture shows Paganini after a lithography by Begas. On the third image, we can see the "Devil's Violinist" on a portrait by P. de Pommayrac. The last picture shows Paganini "in action" on a sketch by Boulanger.

Paganini developed on the violin new executions, unknwon up till then. Especially impressive one can here this in his beautiful piece "La Campanella" (The Little Bell), namely the rondo of the violin concerto in B minor, opus 7. This piece will fascinate everyone, who listens to it.

But also his guitar compositions, less known than the violin pieces, are remarkable.

Paganini's birthday is on the 27.10., the same day as mine - so he was a scorpio of the first decade.
